McDonald's dairy products are made from all natural milk and cream. Our smooth and delicious dairy products can be part of a healthy diet. McDonald's milk, cheese, and yogurt provide important nutrients needed every day for good health, including protein, vitamin A, vitamin B12, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus and potassium.
 
   
 
Dairy
McDonald's is pleased to offer two milk varieties (plain or chocolate) as beverage choices. McDonald's serves milk from suppliers such as Dean Foods. Our 1% low fat milk is pasteurized, homogenized and immediately packaged fresh and cold. McDonalds milk is an excellent source of calcium and vitamin D and a good source of vitamin A. Our milk is not sold unless it meets McDonald's high quality standards. Therefore, the flavor of McDonald's milk is always cold and refreshing; a great complement for any meal.

Cheese
McDonald's uses a special blend of pasteurized American cheese to complement the flavor of its sandwiches. McDonald's cheese is supplied by suppliers like Kraft, a popular brand in many family households. Therefore, every time you bite into one of McDonald's cheeseburgers or an Egg McMuffin sandwich, you taste pure, melted quality.
 
Yogurt
McDonald's has partnered with renowned suppliers such as Dannon and General Mills to supply the Vanilla Lowfat Yogurt found in the Fruit 'n Yogurt Parfait. Dannon has been making yogurt for more than 60 years, and uses only Grade A low fat milk, plus live and active yogurt cultures that are carefully cultivated. McDonald's Fruit 'n Yogurt Parfait makes for a nutritious snack with the combination of creamy low fat yogurt along with blueberries and strawberries.
 
 Ice Cream and Shakes
McDonald's Triple Thick Shakes, McFlurry desserts and reduced-fat ice cream are made from fresh quality cream, whole milk, and skim milk solids.
